Wantaiyuan (Wonterfull) brand was originally established in 1860 (the 10^th year of the Xianfeng reign of the Qing Dynasty) by Yuanneng Fu from Pan'an, Zhejiang. He learned from masters of royal Longjing tea and became renowned for his tea-making techniques.

Founded by Miaoqing Fu and Baishui Zhou, Guangdong Kingsoo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was restructured and separated from the original single powder-injection workshop of Kangtian (Zhongshan) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. In June, Guangdong Wonterfull ITD Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was established, marking the company’s official entry into the family convenience medicine sector.

In September, Kingsoo Pharma signed a "Technology Equity Agreement" with Leawell International LTD. and ACS DOBFAR S.P.A. in Milan, Italy. The industrial and commercial registration changes were completed in April of the following year, officially establishing the company as a Sino-Italian joint venture.

In-Licensing product: Piperacillin Sodium and Tazobactam Sodium for Injection (MAH: Wockhardt Bio AG; Manufacturer: Mitim S.r..) was approved for marketing in China.
